NxNYC, the second annual gathering of digital professionals in New York City who skipped SXSW Interactive, took place last Monday night at “The Loft,” the upstairs room at Professor Thom’s (pictured, left) in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood. Hosted by event organizer Christina Coster and freelance programmer Jon Lazar, there were drink specials and despite what you might think about the pull of SXSW, there was plenty of company.
While there, I ran into singer Abigail Wright, Didit’s Elliot Ronen, Shecky’s Pas
Niratbhand, M Booth & Associates’ Alyssa Galella, NewTeeVee’s Ryan Lawler, Middle Earth Media’s Leftonred Atanycorner, AOL’s Scott Iwata, freelance writer Andrew Graham, McKinsey & Company’s Devin Brown, Take Two Interactive’s Clarice Meadows, CafeMom’s Matthew Knell, The Times of London’s Joanna Geary, and digital strategist Jenny Muller. [Editor’s Note: If I missed you and I easily could have since the party was a week ago, you can let me know here.]
